completed, largest tallgrass prairie restoration area in region.
Best Times to Visit: April
through October.
Birds To Look For: Sandhill
Cranes, Greater Prairie-Chickens, Bobolink, Marbled Godwits,
Nelson’s Sharp-tailed Sparrow, Savanna Sparrow, shorebirds and
waterfowl.
Notes For Birding The Area:
Waterproof foot wear is recommended. No trails available. Access is
by foot only.
